All 9th grade students start the school year with a community-building retreat which aims to facilitate their transition to high school and to introduce them to the mission of BMCHS.
A retreat is held later in the year for 9th – 11th grade students giving them an opportunity to reflect on their journey in faith as well as nurture their spirituality. On this same day, the 12th grade students participate in a service day followed by a related integration experience. Participation in this day is mandatory for all students.
All 12th graders have a retreat day early in the first quarter to prepare them for their final year in the school community. In the spring, they participate in a two-day, one-night retreat to prepare them for the rest of their spiritual journey in life.
