Thursday, April 27th 2017 is the New Hurricane Welcome Night at Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School. All incoming students are welcome to join us from 4:30-7:00pm for an introduction to life as a BMCHS Hurricane. Families are asked to meet and sign in at the table in the main lobby. Light refreshments will be served.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., you may shop for your school and gym uniforms in the Risse Brothers on-site store. In addition, our Spirit Store will be open and you will be able to purchase BMCHS t-shirts and more to show your Hurricane Pride!
Around 5:15 p.m., we will move into our beautiful Eleanor Dempsey Performing Arts Center and be welcomed by our Principal, Mrs. Camille Jowanna, and meet other school administrators and faculty.
You will learn about opportunities to become involved with our Parent Volunteer Association. Representatives from Peer Ministry, Honor Societies, Student Government, Clubs, Athletics and more will be in the lobby to discuss student activities.
Our Athletic Director, along with some of the coaches, will answer questions about our summer sports program and the athletics department.
Faculty members will be present to answer any academic questions you may have and you will be able to pick up the summer reading and supply lists.
We are looking forward to seeing you tonight! Go ‘Canes!
